Experimental Jetset are a small, independent graphic design studio based in Amsterdam, consisting of Marieke Stolk, Danny van den Dungen and Erwin Brinkers. They have been collaborating as Experimental Jetset since they graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy (in 1997, 1997 and 1998 respectively). In their work they focus mostly on printed matter. They describe graphic design as ‘turning language into objects’.

About Wim Crouwel and his influence on their work, they say: ‘The graphic landscape in which we spent our childhood years was largely designed by Wim Crouwel and his peers. As a consequence, Crouwel's handwriting has become our native language, our mother tongue. What was intended by Crouwel as a purely functional system, has been embedded in our psyche as a poetic language: a vocabulary filled with beauty and tension.’
